Local designer dresses students for Nqweba matric ball

Nqweba Secondary School in Umasizakhe held their Matric Ball on 27th March, and the venue of the Panorama Guest House in Graaff-Reinet proved to be ideal for the function.

The guest speaker was Mr K Wildschut from the local Department of Education District Office, and a representative from the school ‘s governing body, Miss N Menzi, also spoke some encouraging words to the matriculants.  Zenande Nocanda replied on behalf of the learners.

The theme for the evening was “sassy and classy”, and the venue interpreted this just as the students wanted.

Ten of the 57 learners were dressed by the designer Intombi Stoann, originally from Aberdeen but now based in Port Elizabeth.
